It is the
shopping street of East Berlin, on the outskirts of historical buildings in the street
"Unter den Linden" and a stone´s throw away from the Gendarmenmarkt and not far
away from the Potsdamer Platz or the Reichstag. Designer boutiques, galleries, jeweler´s shops, the french department store Galeries Lafayette, stores in the Friedrichstadtpassagen, the cultural department store Dussmann, different book stores and many other stores are in the Friedrichstrasse.
